कला + आंगन
We are a small house, started in 2019, where Twenty-two women in two Garhwali villages weave the textiles you find here. Every piece carries the name of the woman who made it, the village she wove it in and the days it took.
We don’t do trends. We follow the seasons of the mountain. Wool in winter, lighter blends in summer, undyed yarns when the river runs muddy with silt.

A loom is dressed slowly and only once a season
Why setting up a four-shaft handloom takes two women a full day and why we never rush it.
