Our cluster
Twenty-two weavers, two villages
Kalangan is the work of twenty-two weavers across two villages in the Mandakini valley — Ukhimath and Guptkashi. They are weavers, spinners, dyers, finishers; some are all four. Every piece in our shop carries their name.

Master weaver of the season
Meena Devi, of Ukhimath
“When the snow comes I weave by the courtyard window. The light is the same colour as the wool, and my hands stop being cold by the third row.”

Where the order goes
Every profit stays in the valley
-
Local livelihoods first
Every order supports artisan families in Uttarakhand.
-
Production stays within the cluster
We work directly with weaving communities, not factories.
-
Growth shared with the makers
Profits return to the people behind the craft.
